Born on 16 May 1971, in Mufulira (Copperbelt, Zambia), Rt. Rev. Patrick Chilekwa Chisanga is a professed member of Order of Friars Minor Conventual.

Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi
The Holy Father has appointed Fr. Obed Muriungi Karobia, OFMConv., as the new Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi.
The member of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual (OFMConv.) will, upon his episcopal ordination, assist Most Rev. Philip Anyolo, Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi, in the pastoral governance of the Archdiocese, alongside Auxiliary Bishop David Kamau.
Fr. Obed Muriungi Karobia was born in Meru, Kenya, on 29th June 1979. He made his temporary profession on 24th July 2004, his solemn profession on 10th October 2010, and was ordained to the priesthood on 28th July 2012.
He attended St. Bonaventure University from 2004 to 2007; proceeding to Tangaza University for his theological studies.
The 46-year-old friar served as the Vocations Promoter for the Conventual Franciscan Friars in Kenya. Then in September 2019 Fr. Obed was elected the first Minister Provincial of the newly established Province of St. Francis of Assisi in Kenya. Until his present appointment, he has been serving as the Supreme Moderator of the Franciscan Servants of Mary Queen of Love Fraternity, a religious community of priests and brothers.
He becomes the first Conventual Franciscan friar to be appointed a bishop in Kenya since the Order established its inaugural mission in the country in 1984, with its foundation in Ruiri, Meru.
He was ordained Bishop on 7th May 2026.

Rt. Rev. Wolfgang Pisa was born on 6 July 1965 at Karatu, Arusha region.
He joined the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin in 1990 and professed his temporary vows in 1992.

Rt. Rev. George Muthaka was born on 28 December 1974 at Ruiru, Kiambu County, Kenya.
He joined the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and professed his temporary vows in 1996.
