Listed below are the requirements to be satisfied by the candidates for them to graduate in Diploma in Philosophy, Diploma in Philosophy and Religious Studies or a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy.
All candidates are required to complete and pass English Language for them to be allowed to graduate in any program with the University College. Those candidates who do not begin their programs with the institution may be required to prove their competence through an oral examination, an essay paper or some other form of test as may be required by the Academic Committee through the Dean.
To attain a Diploma in Philosophy one needs to pass all philosophical theoretical courses, all history of philosophy courses, all supplementary philosophical courses, three elective courses and two language courses (latin I and II and, one modern language).
Candidates who wish to graduate with a Diploma in Philosophy and Religious Studies need to fulfill the graduation requirement of the Diploma in Philosophy above plus a minimum of twenty (20) credits of any of the Religious Studies courses offered by the University College listed below.
A candidate will be allowed to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy if he fulfills the requirements of the Diploma in Philosophy above and passes with a minimum of eighty-two (82) percent (a B symbol or ) using the Pontifical University Antonianum (PUA) marking scheme.
